Case study
Evermos Commerce
Social commerce app for Indonesian resellers
Evermos is one of Indonesia's largest social commerce platforms: resellers sell to their own networks from their phones while the platform handles inventory, fulfilment and payment. I owned the cart, checkout and payment flows of the customer app and led its frontend performance and quality work.

Overview
Checkout is where a commerce app earns or loses money, and Evermos resellers mostly shop on mid-range phones over mobile data. Two things mattered: pages had to load fast on poor networks, and payment flows — including split-wallet payouts where one order pays several parties — had to be correct every time.
The performance work was a restructuring rather than micro-optimisation: the storefront was split into sub-routes that load and cache independently, each route's payload was trimmed with code splitting, and caching moved to the edge. Quality came from the same mindset — design tokens defined once, and component unit tests at the boundaries where regressions used to slip through.
Key achievements
- 30% faster page loads through route isolation, code splitting and edge caching
- 50% fewer production issues after introducing component unit testing and shared design tokens
- Instant checkout and split-wallet payouts across the reseller commerce app
- In-browser ESC/POS bridge for printing thermal receipts on warehouse packing lines
